C&D Inc. Showcases at the 8th CIIE, Joining Hands with Partners to Write a New Chapter of Win-Win Development

On November 5th, the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened as
scheduled in Shanghai. This year, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) once again participated in the grand event and signed important agreements with multiple Fortune Global 500 companies and leading brands across industries.

On the morning of November 5th, Wu Bin, Mayor of Xiamen Municipal People’s Government, together with officials from the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce and other departments, visited the booth of Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC)—a key client of C&D Agricultural Products Group—accompanied by Xu Xiaoxi, Party Secretary and Chairman of C&D Corp., and Lin Mao, Chairman of C&D Inc., as well as other company leaders. The delegation learned about the business layouts and development progress of C&D Inc. and LDC in the global agricultural products supply and industrial chains.

During the Expo, C&D Agricultural Products Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with LDC, covering an annual agricultural product transaction volume of USD 2.5 billion. Under the agreement, both sides will advance full-chain agricultural cooperation in strategic regions, enhance industrial efficiency, and pursue sustained, steady growth in cooperation scale, thereby optimizing the allocation of international agricultural supply chain resources and jointly building a secure and stable global agricultural supply chain network.

On the same day, Chairman Xu Xiaoxi and other company executives visited the booth of Fonterra—an important client of C&D Consumer Goods Group—where they exchanged updates on business operations with Peter McBride, Chairman of the Board of Fonterra, and other executives, and held in-depth discussions on future cooperation directions and prospects.

Chairman Xu Xiaoxi and his delegation also visited the booths of leading Japanese trading companies Marubeni and ITOCHU to learn more about their global industrial layouts and business models, further expanding C&D Inc.’s industrial network and ecosystem. Leveraging the CIIE as a window for international cooperation, C&D Inc. engaged with both new and long-term partners to explore opportunities for high-level collaboration.

Looking ahead, C&D Inc. will stay focused on specialized operation and international expansion, continuously scaling up global trade cooperation, and joining hands with its partners to inject new momentum into the development of global industrial and supply chains.
