On the afternoon of October 27, the Conference on the High-quality Development of the North-to-South Grain Transportation and the Promotion of Pilot Projects for Building a Strong Transportation Country, jointly hosted by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Transportation and Liaoning Port Group Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Dalian. Lin Mao, Chairman of C&D Inc. (600153.SH), together with Lv Rongdian, Vice General Manager of C&D Inc. and General Manager of C&D Agricultural Products Group, were invited to attend the conference.

The conference aimed to implement China’s national food security strategy, advance the establishment of the North-to-South Grain Transportation corridor, and ensure the stable and secure operation of the grain supply and industry chains. It gathered representatives from national ministries, local governments, port enterprises, railway system, and grain supply chain companies to jointly explore pathways for the high-quality development of the North-to-South Grain Transportation.

During the conference, C&D Inc. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Liaoning Port Group, under which both sides will deepen cooperation in areas such as grain warehousing, multimodal transport, information sharing, and financial support, jointly building a new ecosystem of collaboration supply chain for the North-to-South Grain Transportation.

As a corporate representative, Lin Mao delivered a keynote speech. He noted that C&D Inc.’s domestic agricultural products trading volume exceeded 10 million tons in the previous harvest season, playing an important role in ensuring national food security and facilitating the smooth operation of the North-to-South Grain Transportation corridor.

Lin emphasized that C&D Inc. will continue to leverage its warehousing resources in major production areas such as Northeast and North China, as well as its logistics network covering roads, railways and sea routes, to optimize supply chain routes, enhance circulation efficiency, and reduce operating costs. Meanwhile, C&D Inc. will strengthen its specialized, one-stop LIFT Supply Chain Service, promoting digitalization, visualization, and traceability across the grain supply chain, deepen synergy among domestic and overseas grain sources, and ultimately build a safe, efficient, green, and intelligent grain circulation system.

The conference provided an important opportunity for C&D Inc. to deepen strategic collaboration with partners like Liaoning Port Group and jointly develop a cooperative ecosystem for the North-to-South Grain Transportation. Looking ahead, C&D Inc. will continue to utilize its strengths in resource integration and supply chain operations, actively serving China’s national food security strategy and contributing to the establishment of a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable grain circulation system.
