C&D Corp. General Manager Zheng Yongda Visits Fonterra Group in New Zealand

From October 29 to 30, Zheng Yongda, General Manager of C&D Corp., together with Wang Zhibing, Vice General Manager of C&D Inc. and General Manager of C&D Consumer Goods Group, led a delegation to visit Fonterra Group in New Zealand.

On the morning of the 29th, the delegation arrived at Fonterra’s headquarters, where they were warmly welcomed by Miles Hurrell, Global CEO of Fonterra, along with other senior leadership, including Zhou Dehan, CEO of Fonterra Greater China, and Huang Hong, Chief Operating Officer. The Fonterra team provided a tour to introduce the visitors to the company’s history and corporate culture.

In a subsequent exchange meeting, Miles Hurrell shared Fonterra’s ongoing strategic adjustments and developments, noting that in response to the global trend towards health-conscious consumption, Fonterra is shifting its focus from basic dairy ingredients to high-value-added ingredient products. The company is concentrating its resources on core business areas to strengthen its differentiation strategy. He emphasized Fonterra’s commitment to further deepen its presence in the Chinese market, positioning China as a vital innovation hub to drive global growth.

Zheng Yongda introduced C&D Corp.’s business structure and recent developments, stating that with Chinese consumers increasingly conscious of health and nutrition, and with rising familiarity and trust in dairy products, Fonterra is well-positioned to seize new growth opportunities in China.

Fonterra, New Zealand's largest enterprise, operates three main businesses—Ingredients, Foodservice, and Branded Retail—and owns globally renowned brands such as Anchor, Anlene, and Anmum. Looking ahead, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) will leverage the “Belt and Road Initiative” to advance pragmatic cooperation between China and New Zealand, and contribute to carbon reduction and sustainable development alongside global partners like Fonterra.
