Recently, the “2024 Wind China Listed Companies ESG Best Practices Top 100” list was officially announced, with C&D Inc. (Stock Code: 600153.SH) achieving an “A” rating for its outstanding performance in ESG practices.

C&D Inc. has long prioritized building a robust sustainable development framework. The company’s Board of Directors established the Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee to oversee ESG strategy and key topics of interest to stakeholders, such as environmental management, greenhouse gas reduction, human rights protection, and responsible supply chains. In ESG information disclosure, C&D Inc. has led the industry: it has released Social Responsibility Reports for 10 consecutive years since 2010 and, since 2020, has provided ESG Reports in both Chinese and English for three consecutive years, with the 2023 report upgraded to a comprehensive Sustainable Development Report.

Internationally, C&D Inc.’s ESG achievements have also drawn attention. In the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), the company’s ESG score ranks among the top 12% globally within its industry, the highest among its domestic peers. Domestically, the company ranks highly on ESG ratings from China Securities Index, East Money, and Wind, consistently placing it at the forefront of A-share companies.
