C&D Inc. Joins Hands with Global Partners at the 7th China International Import Expo

Under the theme "New Era, Shared Future," the 7th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as “CIIE”) opened on November 5 in Shanghai, attracting nearly 3,500 companies from over 150 countries, regions, and international organizations, breaking previous attendance records.

As a long-standing friend of CIIE, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) has participated in CIIE for seven consecutive years, meeting new and old partners and using the expo’s platform to engage with Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders on development strategies.

On November 5, C&D Inc. signed strategic cooperation agreements with several renowned international companies, witnessed by Xiamen Vice Mayor Huang Xiaozhou and other government officials, C&D Corp. General Manager Zheng Yongda, C&D Inc. Chairman Lin Mao, C&D Inc. General Manager Cheng Dongfang, and C&D Inc. Vice General Manager & C&D Agricultural Products Group General Manager Lv Rongdian, along with executives from major global partners.

Huazhu Group
Huazhu Group is a multi-brand hotel group in China with a presence in 18 countries and 1,290 cities worldwide, and one of the fastest-growing hotel groups in China. C&D Inc. and its subsidiary Red Star Macalline signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huazhu to collaborate deeply on supply chain services and resource coordination for commercial projects.
According to the agreement, C&D Inc. and Huazhu will leverage their strengths in supply chain services, custom solutions, sustainability, market promotion, and data sharing. Red Star Macalline will support Huazhu in hotel project coordination and renovation design, aiding Huazhu’s expansion in the mid- to high-end market. Together, the three parties aim to foster coordinated development and drive innovation across related sectors.

Agricultural Products Signing Ceremony
From November 5 to 6, C&D Agricultural Products Group signed agreements with major international agri-businesses, including Louis Dreyfus, Cargill, Olam, Cutrale, CHS, and Syngenta. Through these agreements, C&D Inc. will procure a range of high-quality agricultural products, such as soybeans, corn, cotton, and green coffee beans, to enhance industry efficiency and promote steady growth in collaboration. This effort meets the needs of agricultural producers and consumers, supporting food security and stability.

During CIIE, Zheng Yongda, Lin Mao, Cheng Dongfang, and Lv Rongdian visited booths of partners such as Louis Dreyfus, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Fonterra to discuss business developments and exchange views on future cooperation, using the CIIE platform to explore new opportunities.

For seven years, C&D Inc. has utilized CIIE as a springboard to established partnerships with top-tier global companies in sectors like pulp and paper, agricultural products, food, nonferrous metals, and lifestyle goods. By introducing high-quality global goods into Chinese households and integrating quality resources into China’s economy, C&D Inc. supports industrial upgrading.
