Two Companies of C&D Inc. Make the List of High-quality Stainless Steel Nickel-Chrome and New Energy Enterprises

Recently, the (6th) Stainless Steel Nickel-Chromium and New Energy Annual Conference in 2022 was held in Shanghai. The conference saw the official release of the List of High-quality Stainless Steel Nickel-Chrome and New Energy Enterprises in 2021, where two wholly-owned subsidiaries of Xiamen C&D Inc. (600153.SH), i.e. C&D Logistics Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as C&D Logistics) and C&D (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as C&B (Shanghai)), were crowned on the list.
The conference covered such sectors as nickel, chromium, stainless steel, and new energy. Enterprises named on the list were finalized by the panel based on the comprehensive evaluation of factors such as strength, service and marketing level, and social influence of enterprises, with 12 awards presented. By virtue of their superior comprehensive strength, C&D Logistics and C&D (Shanghai) were awarded the "China's Excellent Supply Chain Enterprise of Nickel-Chrome Stainless Steel in 2021", and C&D Logistics was also awarded the "China's High-Quality Supplier of Cobalt-Lithium Material in 2021".

The goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality raised by China involve two stages of carbon emission reduction. The key to achieving the goals hinges on acquiring and using more clean energy, developing green transportation, and building a more sustainable infrastructure. Nickel and nickel-containing materials play an irreplaceable role in all aspects of clean energy production, storage, and use. The circular economy is also an important means to reduce carbon and achieve the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. In addition, nickel-containing stainless steel can be used to manufacture food and beverage equipment and water supply network of high standards to ensure the safety of food and drinking water. It can be also directly applied to a variety of hospital facilities and medical equipment. Nickel is also an essential functional material for electronic and electrical equipment.
