On September 21, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) and the Development and Research Center of China Geological Survey (National Geological Archives of China and Technical Guidance Center for Mineral Exploration, Ministry of Natural Resources) signed a cooperation agreement in Xiamen.

According to the agreement, both sides will focus on strategic and critical mineral resources in China and overseas, fully leveraging the Development and Research Center’s professional and technical strengths and C&D Inc.’s supply chain strengths to cooperate in areas including geological surveys and mineral exploration in China and overseas, geological data information services and sharing, and technological innovation in geological prospecting.

As a specialized group under C&D Inc., C&D Minerals Group will actively seize opportunities arising from the new round of strategic actions for breakthroughs in mineral prospecting during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Leveraging its global supply chain network and industrial service capabilities, C&D Minerals Group will further strengthen its connection with resource origins, advance the implementation of the cooperation initiatives, and better contribute to safeguarding China’s strategic mineral resource security and the security of industrial and supply chains.
