C&D Inc. Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Dongfeng Motor Industry Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd.

On February 2, Lin Mao, Party Secretary and Chairman of C&D Inc. (600153.SH), together with Wang Zhibing, Vice General Manager of C&D Inc. and General Manager of its Consumer Goods Group, visited China Dongfeng Motor Industry Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “DFMIEC”). The delegation was received by Wang Long, Party Secretary and Chairman of DFMIEC, and Qiu Xiaojun, Vice General Manager (presiding over daily operations), among other executives. Both sides held working discussions and jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement.

C&D Inc. and DFMIEC have each developed leading capabilities in their respective fields, with strengths in supply chain operations and in the global export of complete vehicles and auto parts. Prior to this agreement, two companies had already engaged in business cooperation across overseas market expansion, vehicle procurement and sales, as well as related supporting services. Guided by the principle of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, both sides have now formally established a strategic partnership to further advance their international layouts and explore opportunities in global markets.

Under the framework of the agreement, two companies will deepen collaboration in key areas including international investment and capacity deployment, procurement and distribution of complete vehicles and components, coordination of global logistics nodes, and bulk commodity swaps. Together, they aim to build a multi-tiered and sustainable global supply chain collaboration platform.
