C&D Light Industry and Xiamen King Long Successfully Complete Delivery of Pure Electric Buses to Ethiopia

On August 25, C&D Light Industry, a fully-owned subsidiary of C&D Inc. (600153.SH), joined hands with Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. to successfully complete the delivery of pure electric buses to Ethiopia. This marks another achievement in the two parties’ six-year strategic cooperation, signifying a new stage in high-quality “go global” efforts and showcasing the comprehensive competitiveness of China’s manufacturing industry in the global public transportation sector.

As a new member of BRICS in 2024, Ethiopia has taken a leading position in the African market in the field of new energy vehicles. The pure electric buses delivered this time will be integrated into the country’s modernized transportation system, contributing to Ethiopia’s vision of “green transport”.
