Supporting Xiamen Enterprises to "Go Global", C&D Japan Inc. Praised by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce

In November 2022, C&D Japan Inc., C&D Inc.'s (600153.SH) wholly-owned subsidiary, was designated by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce as the "Xiamen Overseas Investment and Trade Service Liaison Office (Japan)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Japan Liaison Office"). Over the past year, C&D Japan Inc. has focused on attracting investments to "bringing in" and expanding into the Japanese market to "going out", providing assistance to Xiamen enterprises in further exploring the Japanese market and facilitating bilateral investments.

Currently, the Japan Liaison Office has established connections with 328 local associations and well-known enterprises, engaging in friendly exchange activities with entities such as the Chinese Enterprises Association in Japan, the Japan Iron and Steel Federation, the Japan Aluminum Association, as well as renowned companies like Marubeni Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, Mizuho Financial Group, and COSCO Shipping (Japan) Co., Ltd.

In recent years, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce has leveraged overseas investment and trade service liaison offices to help Xiamen enterprises "going out" by participating in internationally renowned exhibitions. Since its establishment, the Japan Liaison Office has facilitated over 80 personnel visits to Japan for project inspections, industry exhibitions, and exchange visits. It has organized participation for Xiamen enterprises in various notable Japanese exhibitions, including the AFF Trade Show, Food Convention 2023, FOOMA JAPAN 2023.

Japan is a key area in C&D Inc.'s globalization strategy. In recent years, C&D Japan Inc. has actively supported Xiamen enterprises in expanding their businesses in Japan, connecting Japanese enterprises with investment opportunities in Xiamen, and providing a high-quality platform for bilateral exchange and cooperation. In the future, C&D Inc., together with C&D Japan Inc., will further strengthen research and exchanges in the Japanese market, share RCEP development opportunities with partners, and create new chapters in Sino-Japanese economic and trade cooperation.
