Cheongfuli (Xiamen) Co-hosts China Steel Overseas Development Forum

On April 19, the “China Steel Overseas Development Forum” hosted by Cheongfuli (Xiamen) Co.,Ltd., the international steel supply chain operation unit of C&D Inc. (600153.SH), and Shanghai Ganglian E-commerce Holdings Co.,Ltd., was held in Xiamen.

The forum focused on the "overseas steel capacity layout", "overseas mineral resources development" and other relevant contents of China's steel industry. Experts and leaders from large steel production enterprises and overseas steel investment enterprises discussed and exchanged views together to look ahead overseas development opportunities of China’s steel industry.

Cheng Dongfang, Vice General Manager of C&D Inc. and General Manager of C&D Steel & Iron Group, delivered a speech during the forum. He pointed out that C&D Steel & Iron Group would be willing to work with its steel industry partners to jointly focus on overseas market opportunities, seize overseas development opportunities so as to help China's steel go global better.

During the forum, the list of “2023 Outstanding Steel International Trade Enterprises” was also released. Cheongfuli (Xiamen) won the award for its excellent international steel supply chain operation strength.

In recent years, C&D Steel & Iron Group has closely followed the guidance of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, and deeply cultivated the RCEP "Circle of Friends". Its international steel supply chain operation units, represented by Cheongfuli (Xiamen) have set up subsidiaries or offices in more than 20 countries and regions such as South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States, Turkey and Chile. Looking forward, C&D Steel & Iron Group will continue to provide professional and one-stop “LIFT” supply chain services for upstream and downstream industrial customers, and strive to become China's leading and internationally competitive steel supply chain operator.
