To accelerate the layout of the new energy track, C&D Inc. increases investment in a subsidiary of Jolywood
Recently, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) and Jolywood (300393.SZ) signed the Capital Increase Agreement, with the intention to jointly increase the capital by a total of 500 million yuan for Shanxi Jolywood Photovoltaic Battery Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanxi Jolywood), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jolywood. Through this cooperation, C&D Inc. will form a close strategic cooperative relationship with Jolywood and make joint efforts in the new energy track.
Along with the proposal and advancement of the national strategy of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, C&D Inc. has made initial forays into supply chain operation services for the lithium battery and photovoltaic industries involving the new energy sector. In terms of the lithium battery sector, C&D Inc. has accelerated its pace in globalization and multicategory layout, and has established cooperation with many leading enterprises located upstream and downstream of the industry. This aims to achieve arrangements encompassing the whole industrial chain services from the overseas-raw-material end to the processing-plant-and-battery end, with customized supply chain operation services offered based on customer's needs. In terms of the photovoltaic sector, C&D Inc. has entered into partnership with many photovoltaic enterprises, such as LONGi and Trina Solar, to facilitate supply chain service business, and has invested in the construction of distributed photovoltaic power stations in various locations.
By actively responding to the call of the national green development strategy, C&D Inc. will step up its efforts to make arrangements in line with the new energy track for the future, provide service solutions for multiple links in the industrial chain, and seek to establish stable cooperative relationships with industry leaders. C&D Inc. will also vigorously explore operation services of related upstream and downstream supply chains, as well as proactively contributing to the construction of a green and low-carbon circular development economic system.
