C&D Supply Chain Logistics Strengthens Its North-South Logistics Network in Vietnam

Recently, C&D Supply Chain Logistics, a subsidiary under the Emerging Business Division of C&D Inc. (600153.SH), entered into two major cooperation agreements in Vietnam. The company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Gemadept Corporation (“GMD Group”), a major port and logistics operator in Vietnam, and reached an in-depth cooperation agreement with ICD TAN CANG - LONG BINH JOINT STOCK (“ICD Long Binh”), a subsidiary of Saigon Newport Corporation (“SNP Group”), Vietnam’s leading state-owned port and logistics operator, with a launching ceremony held for the partnership.

In terms of port logistics and bulk cargo yards in northern Vietnam, C&D Supply Chain Logistics will cooperate with GMD Group to operate bulk carrier berths and bulk cargo yards behind the terminal at NAM DINH VU Port in Hai Phong. The cooperation will further improve logistics facilities for bulk and general cargo in the Hai Phong port area, effectively addressing challenges such as limited storage space and high warehousing costs at traditional bulk and general cargo terminals.

In terms of integrated warehousing and logistics nodes in southern Vietnam, C&D Supply Chain Logistics officially launched its warehouse at the ICD Long Binh Logistics and Warehousing Park and commenced in-depth cooperation with ICD Long Binh. Located at a transportation hub connecting Ho Chi Minh City’s major seaports with major industrial parks, the ICD Long Binh Logistics and Warehousing Park is equipped with a range of warehousing facilities, including bonded warehouses, cold storage facilities, container freight stations (CFS), and hazardous chemical warehouses, providing professional and secure warehousing services for various types of cargo. As C&D Supply Chain Logistics’ first node in Vietnam’s southern core economic corridor, the project will further serve warehousing and logistics needs in surrounding areas and strengthen the role of the site as a regional logistics hub.
