On June 25, the commissioning ceremony of the C&D Grain Security Storage Base at Dandong Port was held in Dandong, Liaoning Province. The event was hosted by Liaoning Port Group Co., Ltd. (“Liaoning Port Group”) and attended by company representatives including Tai Jinggang, Vice President of Liaoning Port Group, and Lin Mao, Chairman of C&D Inc.

As one of the five major port areas under Liaoning Port Group, Dandong Port is strategically located at the intersection of Northeast Asia and the Bohai Economic Circle, and serves as the northernmost natural ice-free seaport along China’s coastline. With a grain storage capacity of 1.35 million tons, more than 100 kilometers of dedicated railway lines, and a 120-kilometer port road network, the port is a key hub along China’s “North-to-South Grain Transportation” corridor.

The newly commissioned C&D Grain Security Storage Base marks a significant achievement in the strategic cooperation between C&D Inc. (600153.SH) and Liaoning Port Group. Leveraging an integrated logistics network that connects road, rail, and maritime transportation, C&D Inc. will establish efficient circulation channels linking production regions directly with consumption markets, reducing intermediate handling and minimizing logistics losses. At the same time, through its LIFT supply chain services, C&D Inc. will enable end-to-end digital tracking, visualized management, and traceability throughout the grain supply chain, from cultivation to delivery, further improving the efficiency of grain circulation from Northeast China’s production regions to southern consumption markets.

In the previous grain season, C&D Inc.'s domestic grain trading volume exceeded 10 million tons. As one of the major domestic corn transshipment customers at Dandong Port, C&D Inc. has maintained a longstanding partnership with the port. In April 2024, C&D Inc. signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement at the group level with Liaoning Port Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Liaoning Port Group, officially launching the Dandong–Shekou shipping route under the “North-to-South Grain Transportation” initiative. In October 2025, both sides further strengthened their cooperation through a strategic partnership, deepening collaboration in warehousing resource sharing, multimodal transportation, information connectivity, and financial support services to build a new supply chain ecosystem for the “North-to-South Grain Transportation” corridor.

The commencement of operations at the C&D Grain Security Storage Base at Dandong Port not only represents an important practice of C&D Inc.’s active participation in China’s national food security strategy, but also injects new momentum into the development of Dandong’s grain industry and port-neighboring economy. Looking ahead, C&D Inc. will continue working closely with its partners to deepen its presence along the “North-to-South Grain Transportation” corridor and safeguard national food security through more efficient supply chain services and a more comprehensive warehousing and logistics system, contributing to economic development and public well-being.
