C&D and CATL Deepen Strategic Partnership to Expand Global New Energy Opportunities

On May 14, a delegation led by Zeng Yuqun, Chairman and General Manager of CATL, visited C&D Corp. and held in-depth discussions with Xu Xiaoxi, Party Secretary and Chairman of C&D Corp., on strengthening upstream and downstream collaboration across the new energy industry and promoting high-quality industry development. Both sides also witnessed the signing of a key cooperation project.

Both sides agreed to further deepen their comprehensive strategic collaboration by actively exploring opportunities for resource complementarity and integrated strengths, expanding cooperation across the new energy industry chain, jointly supporting the establishment of Xiamen’s Zero-Carbon Science and Technology City and the leading innovation hub for the new energy industry, while achieving mutual benefit and shared success through better service to national development priorities.

Following the meeting, C&D Inc. (600153.SH), a core member of C&D Corp., signed a Strategic Cooperation Memorandum with CATL. Under the memorandum, the two companies will leverage their respective strengths, including C&D Inc.’s global network, overseas resource integration capabilities, and end-to-end supply chain operations, together with CATL’s world-leading battery and energy storage technologies and strong global brand influence. Using overseas investment as a key link, both companies will pursue deeper cooperation across upstream and downstream segments of the new energy industry, jointly opening a new chapter of innovation-driven development and global market expansion.
