C&D Inc. Wins the “Best ESG Award” of 7th China IR Annual Awards

On January 11, the 2024 Investor Relations Innovation Summit for Listed Companies and the 7th China IR Annual Awards Ceremony were held in Shenzhen. With its excellent performance in ESG, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) won the “Best ESG Award” of 7th China IR Annual Awards.

“China IR Annual Awards” is co-sponsored by Roadshow China and its sub-brands China IR. The “Best ESG Award” aims to reward listed companies with outstanding performance in the construction of ESG system, ESG information disclosure and ESG communication practice in 2023.

In terms of ESG information disclosure, C&D Inc. upgraded its social responsibility report to the ESG report, and has disclosed the Chinese and English ESG reports for three consecutive years. The ESG report of C&D Inc. can truly reflect the company's practice and achievements in corporate governance, social responsibility and environmental protection, and demonstrates the company’s achievements of employee health and safety, product and service quality, legal and compliant operation, business ethics and anti-corruption, internal risk control, employee rights protection, environmental protection, response to national strategy, and promotion of industry cooperation to domestic and foreign capital market investors.

In 2023, C&D Inc. added a column of "Sustainable development" on the company's official website, disclosing ESG reports and ESG related policies and systems for the past three years.The policy contents cover business code of conduct, supplier code of conduct, anti-corruption and anti-bribery, human rights protection, environmental protection and other aspects, effectively improving the company's ESG disclosure system.
