C&D Clean Energy 4.1MV Distributed Photovoltaic Project Starts Establishing in the Corresponding Period

In October, C&D Clean Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of C&D Inc. (600153.SH), accelerated its layout of distributed photovoltaic project investment and construction. A 2.6MV distributed photovoltaic project of Xiamen Jiyuan, independently invested by C&D Clean Energy, and a 1.5MV project jointly built with C&D Auto, another wholly-owned subsidiary of C&D Inc., broke ground at the same time, continuing to empower Fujian’s green energy transformation and sustainable development.

Xiamen Jiyuan, the branch of Chinese Taiwan listed company Jiyuan Holdings (KY8488), is a leading enterprise in the metal packaging industry. The 2.6MW distributed photovoltaic project will use a total of 20,000 square meters of factory roofs and install 4,774 high-efficiency photovoltaic modules. After being connected to the grid, the power generation is expected to reach 3,120,000 kWh in the first year, providing green power support for metal packaging production.

C&D International Auto City is a large-scale comprehensive automobile service center in Xiamen that integrates brand experience, model display, new car sales, automobile services and other functions. It has accommodated many well-known domestic and foreign brands such as Porsche, Lincoln and Audi. The 1.5MW distributed photovoltaic project, with a total construction area of about 15,000 square meters, is expected to provide 43,550,000 degrees of clean electricity for the daily operation of the Auto City in a stable 25-year operating cycle, equivalent to saving 43,500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

At present, C&D clean energy distributed business investment scope has covered Fujian, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Henan and other regions, and has brought convenience, economic and clean power for food, cold chain, logistics, automobile and other high energy-consuming industry. In the future, C&D Clean Energy will continue to deepen the investment and development of distributed power stations, make unremitting efforts to create a green living environment, and contribute to the country's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
