Expanding BRICS Cooperation｜Governor Zhao Long Leads Fujian Provincial Delegation to Visit South Africa, and C&D Inc. Signs an Agreement with Prime Grand

From September 18 to 21, Zhao Long, Deputy Secretary of Fujian Provincial Committee, Governor of Fujian Province, led a Fujian delegation to visit South Africa. During the visit, Governor Zhao Long attended the recommendation meeting “Refreshing Fujian: Starting Point of the Maritime Silk Road”. At the meeting, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) and South Africa’s Prime Grand signed a cooperation agreement on the trade and investment of non-ferrous metal products in South Africa.

C&D Logistics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of C&D Inc., is responsible for the implementation and promotion of specific business in this cooperation. According to the agreement, C&D Logistics will strengthen cooperation with South Africa's Prime Grand company on non-ferrous metal mineral products, so as to help China and South Africa deepen economic and trade investment exchanges and cooperation, and jointly smooth the supply chain of mineral products industry chain.

In recent years, C&D Logistics has actively responded to the "Belt and Road" initiative, implemented the company's "going out" development strategy, continued to grow economic and trade exchanges and business cooperation with BRICS countries, and has won the nonary title of “BRICS Demonstration Unit” awarded by the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Innovation Base.
