C&D Inc. Ranks 25th among China's Top 500 Foreign Trade Enterprises

Xiamen C&D Inc. ranked 25th in China and 1st in Fujian province with a total import and export volume of 9.23 billion US dollars, according to 2018 annual ranking report of China's Top 500 foreign trade enterprises (2018) released by China Association of Foreign Economic and Trade Statistics, which is in the charge of China’s Ministry of Commerce in Haikou.


 

In 2018, the trade growth and increment of China's Top 500 foreign trade enterprises set new highs since 2010, and the entry threshold was further raised, rising 12.3 percent from last year to reach 820 million US dollars. Against the backdrop of increasing trade friction between China and the United States and uncertainties in the world economy, C&D Inc.'s import and export volume reached a new record high in 2018, with an increase of 20.5% over the previous year and the ranking is up one place from last year.
 


 

In 2018, the total trade volume of China's Top 500 foreign trade enterprises reached 1,622.333 billion US dollars, up 17.2% month-to-month, accounting for 35.1% of China's total foreign trade. They are the backbone of China's foreign trade and the main force for Chinese enterprises to go global, playing an important role in the national One Belt And One Road strategy.
